Hello everybody! I am Natalia Torres. I am currently a student pursuing a degree in elementary education. A few things about me are that I love watching movies and TV shows and that my favorite color is blue. Also, I have always wanted to become a teacher because I want to make an impact on students' lives and be there for them. So here I am trying to reach my goal of becoming a teacher and doing what I love and enjoy.
I have had multiple prior experiences using technology in an educational setting. For example, I have used technology for school work with an iPad or Macbook. I have mainly used technology to either take notes in class or submit and complete homework. Also in classes, I have used technology to participate in class activities like Kahoot or PowerPoint.
My personal learning network includes my friends, classmates, fellow educators, school, social media, and school clubs. The learning resources I regularly use to support my learning needs and goals are websites like Quizlet or asking my friends or peers for assistance. I regularly use social media such as Twitter and Instagram to find out more information about what is going on in the education system and what I can do to help advocate for change. The people around me also support my learning goals by pushing me to get involved and open my eyes to the issues and progress happening in the world around me and the education system.
